Once you have found a buyer for your property or a new home to purchase, all you want to do is move in! The legal process that follows can often be time consuming and sometimes very stressful. That’s why Oakwood homes provide a dedicated sales coordinator for EVERY sale and recommend that you use our conveyancing services to keep the transaction ‘in house’. The cost of our conveyancing is very competitive too, but more importantly by allowing us to coordinate the whole process, will help to make your moving day come a lot quicker!
What is conveyancing?
Conveyancing is the legal process to validate the title and ownership of any property and transfer of this title to another party. A suitably qualified person is required to conduct this for all properties sold or purchased.
How much does it cost?
Not as much as you may think! We can provide you with a quote online which will vary slightly depending on the sale and purchase price of the properties involved. There will also be ‘additional’ costs for disbursements that are required such as a local authority search. These will be detailed to you from the outset.
Can I choose my own solicitor?
You can choose from the existing panel of experienced Conveyancers that we have available.
How long will the process take?
That depends on a number of factors, but as a guide each transaction is likely to take between 6-12 weeks. If you are in a chain, the speed of your sale will be influenced by the other parties involved. Our sales coordinators will be able to advise you on this.
Do Oakwood homes provide conveyancing?
